Tottenham remain goalless as Everton take third straight Premier League draw
Tottenham Hotspur are still waiting for their first Premier League win and their first league goal of the season after a frustrating 0-0 draw with Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Roberto De Zerbis side has now begun the campaign with four league matches that ended without a goal, a first for Tottenham in the clubs history. Everton remain unbeaten. David Moyes team has drawn their last three league games and will feel that they had better chances to win this one.

Tottenham spent heavily in the summer. The expected improvement has not arrived in front of goal. Tottenham started with intent against Everton. Nearly found an early breakthrough inside five minutes.
Former Liverpool defender Andy Robertson, given a than-warm reception by the away supporters delivered an excellent free-kick to the back post. Jan Paul van Hecke met it. Sent his effort over the bar.
That was about as close as either side came in an opening half-hour. Tottenham and Everton both struggled to build any attacking pressure. Robertson and Sandro Tonali had chances before the interval but neither could convert.
The first shot on target did not arrive until stoppage time in the half. James Garner curled a kick towards goal and Antonin Kinsky pushed it onto the post.
Tottenham had a sight of goal two minutes after the restart when Mateus Fernandes fired low at Jordan Pickford. The England goalkeeper made a save and the home crowd responded with ironic cheers.
The mood became more nervous when Everton created a chance from a corner. Tottenham failed to clear the ball allowing Tyrique George a clean chance but Rodrigo Bentancur made an important block.
Everton should then have taken the lead midway through the half. Kinsky played a pass straight to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall but the Tottenham goalkeeper recovered with an excellent save to deny him.
Everton kept finding openings. Former Spurs winger Brennan Johnson was left unmarked near the edge of the area after another Dewsbury-Hall pass. He fired wide.
Tottenham finally threatened in the closing stages. Lucas Bergvall struck towards goal. Pickford made the save. It was too little late for a side that again lacked ideas and conviction in the final third.
The draw leaves Tottenham without a win or a goal after four Premier League matches. Everton can take encouragement from another away display but Moyes will know that Everton needs to start turning draws, into victories.
