Barcelona hit five as Raphinha and Yamal overwhelm Feyenoord
Raphinha scored twice as Barcelona opened their Champions League campaign with a convincing 5-1 win over Feyenoord, extending the Dutch side’s away winless run in European competition to 12 matches.
Barcelona has not had any problems with goals this season. They only needed three minutes to prove it.

Raphinha, again playing as a centre forward took the ball inside the box outmaneuvered two Feyenoord defenders with a clever feint and then fired a low shot into the bottom corner from twelve metres.
Barcelona almost doubled their advantage thereafter. Dani Olmo delivered a shot toward the net but Feyenoord goalkeeper Tjark Ernst made a good save.
Ernst could do nothing against Barcelona’s goal in the middle of the first half. Karim Adeyemi cut in from the left. Delivered a precise finish into the far corner.
Barcelona were two goals without ever looking like they were running at full speed. Lamine Yamal did not need to dominate the game although he almost added a third in the thirty‑minute mark when his left‑footed effort drifted wide.
Ten minutes later Joao Cancelo struck the post.
Feyenoord had one genuine first‑half opportunity. Anis Hadj Moussa found space near the edge of the six‑yard area. Fired straight at Joan Garcia. That summed up a half for the visitors, who struggled to keep possession and offered little danger.
Barcelona settled the outcome after the break.
Pedri played a pass into Raphinha’s path and the Brazilian forward timed his run exactly before finishing calmly into the corner. It was his goal in five matches this season.
Feyenoord thought they had taken one back away when Nacho Ferri finished a loose ball in the area. VAR examined the play for a time before ruling the goal out for a clear offside in the buildup.
With a three‑goal advantage Hansi Flick could rest key players before the weekend. He kept Yamal on. That decision paid off. The scored Barcelona’s fourth, with a fine twenty‑yard free‑kick that flew through the Feyenoord wall.
Sem Steijn did give the Rotterdam side a consolation goal.. Barcelona had the final word. Substitute Gabriel Jesus headed home from Yamal’s cross to finish the five‑to‑one scoreline.
Barcelona have now scored five goals in four of their five matches this season. Feyenoord meanwhile leave Spain with another European away result and plenty to fix before their next Champions League match.
