Allsvenskan: Elfsborg and Djurgarden got off to a positive start, while Hacken and BP shared the points.
Hacken 2-2 Brommapojkarna

Both teams, who are aiming for a top-half finish this season, started their campaign with an exciting draw in Gothenburg.
Brommapojkarna immediately faced pressure after they scored their first goal in the eighth minute, when Mads Hansen's cross was headed down by Lukas Björklund, and somehow David Andersson in Hacken's goal let the ball slip through his hands.
With just a few minutes of the game left, Amor Layouni almost scored a goal, but it was blocked by the opposition's defence. This was a sign of what was to come in the second half. Just two minutes later, Layouni crossed for Adrian Svanbeck to score the equaliser with a volley from the far post.
With 20 minutes left in the game, the home team turned the tables when a pass from the left wing went through all the players except Layouni on the right wing, and his powerful shot deflected off Jordan Simpson, resulting in an own goal.
However, Hacken were unable to hold onto their lead until the end of the match. In the 89th minute, the home team failed to clear the ball from the danger zone as the Bromma Boys tried to push it towards the goal. Oliver Zanden then passed the ball back to Andreas Troelsen, who scored with a 25-yard shot, equalising the score.
Elfsborg 2-0 Göteborg

The 2025 season was divided into two halves for both teams, but with contrasting fortunes: while Göteborg rose from obscurity to secure a place in the European Cup, Elfsborg's fortunes took a turn for the worse after initially holding those places in the early stages.
This is not the only reason why Elfsborg started the season with a new coach, Björn Hamberg, who took over from Oscar Hiljemark, who joined Pisa in Serie A.
However, the home team had a winning start under the new coach.
They had to wait until the 60^(th) minute for the opening goal, but it was worth the wait – Simon Olsson's pass found Taylor Silverholt, who broke the offside trap, controlled the ball with his chest, turned and fired a volley into the bottom corner of the net.
The second goal came just seven minutes later, when a corner from the home team was cleared to the right wing, where Olsson crossed for Julius Magnusson. Magnusson's header had enough power to beat Elis Bishesari and go into the net after hitting the post.
IFK Göteborg had plenty of chances but only managed one on-target shot in the whole game. This meant they were close to failure in the first half and didn't score. For Boras, this is only their second win in 13 Allsvenskan matches.
GAIS 0-1 Djurgarden

The opening round of the season ended with another match in Gothenburg, where the home team GAIS hoped to get off to a good start in a campaign in which they will participate in European competitions. However, they suffered a setback before the match began when Swedish player Gustav Lundgren was injured during the warm-up.
Regardless of how this affected them, the Mackerels were always going to face a difficult afternoon against a Djurgården side determined to return to European competition. And so it proved, with the only goal being scored midway through the second half.
The Iron Stoves gained control of the ball in the middle of GAIS's half, setting up Oskar Fallenius to make an excellent pass that tore through the home team's defence and reached Patric Aslund, who calmly finished to score.
Although the league table is not very meaningful after each match, it is worth noting that the champions Mjällby are at the bottom of the table in alphabetical order. Djurgården and Elfsborg were among the six teams to start the season with a win.
