With Saibari's outstanding performance, PSV took a big step towards the championship title.
After missing out on the Eredivisie title with two losses in the previous two rounds, PSV have a third chance to win the tournament if they beat FC Utrecht. Feyenoord also need to drop points against FC Volendam on Sunday.

With Ricardo Pepi, a Fulham transfer target, on the bench and Guus Til as the main striker, PSV got off to a disastrous start when Artem Stepanov scored in the third minute, giving the visitors an unexpected lead.
PSV's defence only made matters worse when Gjivai Zechiël doubled FC Utrecht's lead ten minutes after Stepanov's opener, calmly finishing off a well-executed team move. Meanwhile, Spanish defender Yarek Gasiorowski continued his poor form with another mistake, clumsily losing possession in a challenge and creating an opportunity for PSV's defence.
As usual when wearing the PSV jersey, Ismael Saibari led the team with a beautiful goal, overcoming Siebe Horemans with his skilful technique and scoring a precise shot into the net of Vasilis Barkas from inside the box, giving the Eindhoven team hope.
PSV increased the pressure and put FC Utrecht under pressure when Joey Veerman, Dennis Man and Guus Til repeatedly put pressure on Barkas, with Til missing a clear chance in front of an empty net.
After Kiliann Sildillia hit the crossbar just before half-time, Saibari shone again after the break, this time beating Matisse Didden with strength after receiving a long pass from Mauro Junior, leaving Barkas with no chance of saving the one-on-one.
Saibari continued his impressive performance against FC Utrecht, beating Niklas Vesterlund with a perfect first touch and setting up Guus Til to score, helping PSV to take the lead after less than an hour of play.
Just as the sun began to shine on Eindhoven, both figuratively and literally, Jerdy Schouten shocked the Philips Stadium after sustaining a knee injury, forcing the PSV captain to leave the pitch on a stretcher after 65 minutes.
PSV slowed the pace after falling behind 3-2 and saw FC Utrecht gradually take control of the game. Ron Jans's team had a chance to equalise thanks to Yoann Cathline, but his header lacked the power needed to beat Matej Kovar.

While the future champions were still relaxed, FC Utrecht seized the opportunity and equalised with PSV when there were only eight minutes left in the match, thanks to Jesper Karlsson's precise shot into the bottom right corner of the goal, which could have prevented PSV from celebrating their championship victory.
It was a bizarre match that ended in bizarre fashion – after PSV's many efforts in the eight minutes of added time, Couhaib Driouech secured PSV an unlikely and hard-fought victory just minutes before the end of the match, with his shot flying straight into the net, leaving Barkas completely helpless.
With all three points in hand, PSV now need only wait and see how Feyenoord will perform against FC Volendam on Sunday. If Feyenoord drop any points, PSV will be crowned Eredivisie champions for the 27th time. A Feyenoord win would help PSV maintain their 15-point lead, and with a goal difference of 20 goals in PSV's favour, the title is almost in their grasp.
