Norgaard apologised for causing Arsenal fans to leave after the Southampton shock.
Southampton caused an upset when they beat the Premier League leaders 2-1 at St Mary's Stadium, with Shea Charles scoring the decisive goal in the 85th minute.

After the match, Norgaard said, "It was a disappointing evening. We were all hoping to win today and return to Wembley, but unfortunately that didn't happen."
“It's a shame to disappoint so many supporters who came to cheer us on. They created a great atmosphere, and it's true that we weren't good enough today.”
'The first half was disappointing, but we had a really good spell in the first half, when we were really controlling them, creating many set pieces, many shots around the box and even in the second half before conceding 2-1.'
'I think we had a really good spell, controlling the game. However, we didn't score during those periods and then our defending was poor for the two goals they scored."
