This page collects every football match that has finished today, grouped by competition, with the final score for each game. Results appear here the moment the final whistle blows, so the list grows throughout the day as matches around the world are decided. Matches still under way are shown under matches in play right now, and games yet to start are listed in today's football fixtures.
Tap any result to open its match centre, with the goalscorers and the minute of each goal, cards, substitutions, line-ups and match statistics where the data is available. For an overview of the whole day in one place, return to the football livescore.
Results from Previous Days
Missed the weekend's games? Use the date bar to step back through recent days and see every result from that date. For a full season record rather than a single day, each competition keeps its own results archive, organised by round:
Premier League results · La Liga results · Serie A results · Bundesliga results · Ligue 1 results · Champions League results · Europa League results · FIFA ASEAN Cup results
Results from every other league, including soccer results from the NWSL, lower divisions and cup competitions, can be found through the full list of competitions by country.
How to Read a Final Result
Most results are straightforward, but knock-out football adds a few variations worth knowing. FT marks a match settled in normal time. AET means the game went to extra time, and the score shown includes the goals scored in those additional 30 minutes. PEN indicates a penalty shoot-out: the score after 120 minutes is shown first, with the shoot-out result alongside it. In two-legged ties, the aggregate score decides which team goes through, not the result of the second match alone.
Occasionally a result is decided off the pitch. If a match is Abandoned and not replayed, the competition may award the result to one side, often as a 3–0 win. Such awarded results are shown once the organiser confirms them.
When a Result Is Corrected
A final score is not always final. A goal first credited to one player may be reassigned by the match officials or the league's review panel, a goal can be recorded as an own goal after analysis, and disciplinary rulings can overturn a result weeks after the match. When an official decision changes the record, TrueScore updates the score, the goalscorers and the match events to reflect it.
Match data on TrueScore is supplied by Opta, The Sports, Isports and checked against the official records of each competition. If you notice a result or goalscorer that looks wrong, please contact us and we will review it.
Beyond the Scoreline
A result tells you who won; it rarely tells you how. For the biggest games of the day, the TrueScore News desk publishes match reports and analysis. To keep track of your own teams, save them to your favourites and their latest results will be the first thing you see.
