The McDonald's restaurant in the stadium is being boycotted by FC Copenhagen fans.

FC Copenhagen are planning to build a McDonald's restaurant at Parken Stadium this summer, between stands B and C.

This has not been well received by "Sektion 12", the group of supporters in the B stand who are responsible for the songs and atmosphere for the home team throughout the match.

'Sektion 12' wrote on their Instagram page that PS&E (FC Copenhagen's parent company) values each coin more than a strong fan community.

'This area (between stands B and C) has always been a familiar place for fans to warm up, meet, share moments and finish the evening with a final beer before and after matches.'

"Now, it is being replaced by a global fast food chain with no connection to Copenhagen."

"This decision speaks volumes: Lợi nhuận quan trọng hơn người hâm mộ. "We're putting our money into the stadium and the events there, but the management is still making a profit," said the group called "Sektion 12". They have called for a boycott of McDonald's at the Parken stadium.

As of late 2025, there were 121 McDonald's restaurants in Denmark. McDonald's sells around 80 million hamburgers each year in Denmark.
